A Refined, Finished, Tough, Competitive & Comfortable 4 Seater UTV

By Joseph Prestwich(Owner), Aug. 10, 2015

Kawasaki Engineers rewrote the handbook when they designed this UTV! Unlike the competition, Kawasaki offers a COMPLETE/FINISHED UTV that comes standard with a front bumper, four painted doors, a roof, metal skid plates, LED light package and a full-size tow hitch. The competition sells their UTVs... at a higher base price while considering the aforementioned items "extras" in order squeeze a few thousand more dollars from consumers. Some competitors go so far as to sell doors in halves so they can charge you for eight individual door pieces. Its a brilliant way of sticking it to the consumer to make some extra cash! The Kawasaki Teryx 4 also offers the roomiest cabin in its class, giving four adult riders plenty of space to enjoy long, scenic rides. In addition to providing more passenger room, the Kawasaki Engineers kept the overall length and wheelbase of the Teryx shorter than the competition's UTVs while providing maximum cabin room. The Teryx's shorter wheelbase provides an enormous advantage in navigating over uneven terrain while still maintaining plenty of ground clearance. Don't be fooled by competitors claims regarding superior "ground clearance". Off roaders compare Breakover angle, not ground clearance, when assessing a vehicles ability to navigate tough terrain. The Kawasaki Teryx has a superior breakover angle, enabling it to maintain ground clearance as the competitions' UTVs "skid" over rugged terrain. If you choose a competitors UTV, be sure to pay extra to add-on those much needed metal skid plates! Another advantage of the Teryx is a CVT that hooks up quickly, with minimal throttle input. The competitions' side-by-sides lunge forward as the belt finally engages at 25% throttle. Kawasaki Engineers designed a CVT that effortlessly engages, enabling precision movement. This is as much a safety advantage as it is a performance advantage. Try easing a competitors jerky UTV 1-inch forward on a tow-trailer without crashing into the trailer's sides. The Kawasaki Teryx's cabin is refined and finished. The seats are comfortable and supportive. The fit and finish inside the cabin is superb! The V-Twin motor is smooth and quick. It has plenty of power to tow a heavy load or to power up steep and rugged trails. Best of all, the Teryx is thousands less than the competitions' UTVs and you won't have to spend thousands of dollars adding the necessary components (doors, bumpers, skid plates, etc.) to finish building your UTV. I strongly recommend taking a Teryx for a test drive before you commit to buying another UTV! You won't regret it! Read Full Review

Best in class

By DR(Owner), Jun. 24, 2015

Most comfortable seats in class by far along with ride, adjustable fox suspension A+. Went to all dealerships and the Teryx was by far the most roomy in the front and back while still being shorter then others which makes a huge difference in tight trails. Came with accessories from stock(roof,skid... plates, front bumper, led lighting) in which were extra elsewhere. Came with nice rims and tires. Only thing that could be a little better which they fixed in the 2016 is quick adjustable seats. All in all I found this machine to have plenty of power, 4x4& dif lock works amazing, climbs hills (stone and dirt) with ease. If your looking to go wide open on flat ground with a smaller group better off with a cat but for trails, climbing and interior room it's a easy decision with a Teryx4. On top of that they have the most reasonable price and only company in class that will offer a 3 year warrantee vs any other 1 year. Read Full Review
